====== Sending eMails ====== Before you can send an eMail in [[QBIS]] you must enter your eMail server settings into the system. You can do this by clicking on Administration at the top of [[QBIS]] and then clicking on Account Settings. Here you will see fields to enter your eMail server details into. These are the address of your eMail server, a log in name, a password and the default "from" eMail address to use. If you don't know these, then ask your eMail server provider for this information. Hint: It's probably the same details you put into Outlook or whichever eMail program you use. There are several ways to send a contact an eMail. Either by selecting the menu option in the Utilities menu, or by clicking on the eMail icon in the contact browser or by clicking on the eMail link in the contact details control panel and filling out the details of the eMail in the popup form. Your own eMail address will be defaulted in for the “eMail from” field, but you can change it if you require. A default Subject and Body is also created for you which you can change. If you wish to attach documents then you can do so using the Browse for document link. Finally, check the eMail address you are sending to and click the Send eMail button!
