Putting calls on hold

To put a call on hold, click the yellow hand icon in the phone panel:

This will change the colour of the active line and play music to the customer until you take them off hold.

Clicking on line 2 will also automatically put line 1 on hold whilst clicking back on line 1 will put line 2 on hold (if active) and will take line 1 off hold.

When callers are on hold or parked they will hear music playing.

Tip: For customers it is good practice to let them know they are about to be put on hold before hand. For example, simply say “Do you mind if I put you on hold whilst I try and find someone to speak to you?”.
